Habeeb Adeokun is a writer and producer. He is the author of the novel "The Victim" and the screenplay "The Victim", and has written and produced for such shows as CSI: Miami, NYPD Blue, Monk, ER and The West Wing. He has written for such publications as The Huffington Post, Ebony, O Magazine, Essence and Essence.com, The Washington Post and The Washington Times. He is also a contributing editor to Black Enterprise magazine
Habeeb was born in Philadelphia, PA but lived in Chicago for most of his youth. He attended college at the University of Illinois where he studied Communications and was selected to represent the school in the Missouri Valley Conference in basketball.
